We’ve added Seasons to Cairnory: a practical guide to Ireland’s hunting species, with season dates, a clear calendar and illustrated species cards in one place.

Check the season before you head out

Open Seasons with Ireland selected as your Hunting Country. Browse deer, birds and other mammals, then choose a species to check its season status for today or another date.

Browse Ireland’s species by category. Tap the screenshot to view it at full size.

Each species page brings the listed season dates and months together. Green and red calendar tiles distinguish open and closed dates; select a month to see the exact days.

Take a closer look at the species

Tap Species guide to open the illustrated card for the animal or bird. Compare its identifying features and, where shown, the male and female illustrations to help check which species you are looking at.
